Yellow for Birds Copic Marker Color Combo
Hi there my crafty friends. Today, I’m using the Sunny Studios Stamps, Spring Scene Stamps and dies to create this cute Easter Card. I’m also using the Chickie Baby Stamps and Dies and the Fancy Frames Rectangles. I’ve stamped my images in Memento Black Ink and stamped onto my Copic Xpress it Blending Card – which is my favorite paper to use when coloring with Copic Markers – which is what I colored my images with.

The color combo I’m using on the chicks in my card is the first combo — it’s my favorite yellow, Y28, Y26, Y21. The Y28 has a deep mustard tone to it making it easier to get some shadows with the yellow. Otherwise you need to add more of a brown tone to the yellows since they are very neon-y. The same applies with oranges and pinks. You need to add a brown to deepen the shadow and to get that dark to light contrast.
