Use your scraps to create colorful backgrounds

Hello there crafty peeps! Today I’m sharing a card using this adorable snowman from Purple Onion Designs called Berry Snowman. I love this snowman it’s one of the cutest snowman I’ve ever seen. There’s also a few different versions of this snowman stamp so make sure you look through all the pages! There’s a huge sale going on for the 16th Anniversary. So you can get 25% off selected products. The discount will be applied to your cart, so no need for any code.

I stamped my image with memento black in and stamped onto my Copic xpress it Blending Card. I used my Misti and applied a small piece of scor-tape to the unmounted rubber. You can also purchase Tack n Peel and apply it to your misti or a block.

Since there’s not a whole lot of color on the card I decided to make the scarf rainbow. The background is made from 1/2 inch strips of scraps of cardstock. I love doing this to get a variety of colors and to use up those scraps.

There’s 4 different grey families of Copics to choose from. My 2 favorite for snow are the C’s and N’s. I’m using the N’s on this snowman. Here’s the list of colors I used.

Snowman – N0, N1, N3 and a tiny bit of N5.

Scarf – R32, R30, Y35, YR04, Y02, BG13, BG18, B00, B12, V12, N3, N0
