New Release for Neat and Tangled +
Tim Holtz Alcohol Inks + Lift Ink Video Tutorial
Hello there my creative peeps! I hope you are having a terrific week. I’m still on cloud 9 from watching Game of Thrones! I’m so happy it’s back on but so sad it’s going to be over. It’s been a long almost 2 years since the last season!
Today is day 3 of the Neat and Tangled’s April Release week! I’m sharing Tim Holtz Alcohol Inks + Lift Ink Video Tutorial using the new Background Stamp from Neat and Tangled. This stamp is freaking AWESOME!
If you haven’t used the Tim Holtz Alcohol Inks yet you are seriously missing out! They are so much fun to create backgrounds with. I created this background in like 2 minutes — you can’t beat that. If you haven’t used the alcohol lift ink let me share how simple it is — and you can see it in the video. So, after you created your ink mixture with your alcohol inks on your yupo paper (non porous paper) let it dry. Then, take your stamp and ink it up using your ‘lift ink’ ink pad. Then stamp the stamp on another piece of card stock. This gives you an imprint of the stamp and a reverse imprint on the stamp with the alcohol background. It’s like a 2fer — 2 cards in one.
I really wanted to make my backgrounds pop! So I mounted them on some black card stock before adhering them to my card base. Each layer is on foam tape, too for some extra dimension. Then I embossed the sentiment with some white embossing powder and finished off my card with twine and a bow!
Check out my video for more details on the alcohol ink and lift ink process.
I hope you enjoyed my card today. Make sure you follow me on Instagram so you can see more sneak peeks of this amazing Release from Neat and Tangled!
