Step by Step – How to Color Multi-Colored Hair using Copics
Hello creative peeps! Today I have a super fun tutorial to share with you. I am showing you a Step by Step – How to Color Multi-Colored Hair using Copics. Just take a look at the bold bright, beautiful colors of this adorable little princess image. I know, you are dying to know where I got this image, right? Well, adorable image is Whisper Princess by Make it Crafty. I adore the stamps at Make it Crafty. If you have’t been over there yet you MUST go check them out. There’s so many styles, really something for everyone.
I lightened the opacity on the digi stamp so I can do the no line technique. If you were actually stamping an image you would want to use Memento Desert Sand Ink with your Copic Markers. I also used my favorite paper, Cryogen White. Check out this page if you aren’t too familiar with the no line technique.
Copic Marker List:
- Skin – E13, E11, E00, E000, R30, R01
- Eyes – E74, E43, N7, N3, N0
- Dress- B97, B14, B12, B00, B000, B0000, N7
- Hair – V09, V06, V05, RV17, RV14, YR07, YR04, Y17, Y13
Ok, here we go.. let’s start coloring. In each photo you will see a little difference along with the new color in each photo. So follow along and let’s create and Color Multi-Colored Hair using Copic Markers. You will notice I go back with the colors a bit to get the colors blending, since the shades are so different.
I absolutely adore the way this entire image came out, from the hair to the pleats in the dress. If pleats are something that trouble you.. check out this How to Create Pleats using Copic Markers Tutorial.
