Soft No Line Coloring Tutorial with MFT Stamps

Hello my creative peeps! I’m so excited to share this adorable little bear from My Favorite Things. I  stamped him in the Memento Desert Sand Ink so I can have that no line look. I’ve created a Soft No Line Coloring Tutorial with MFT Stamps to share with you, so make sure you scroll all the way through. 🙂

I was over on the MFT Challenge and just love the color combo! I think I did pretty good with matching some Copics to it. The BV might be a little too purpley.. but I think it works.

I have been playing around with some watercolor backgrounds this week and came up with some awesome backgrounds for a my May Class at This n That! If you are going to be in the Southern California Area or live here I would love for you to join me! You can find all the details on my classes HERE.

Alright let’s get to the tutorial. Here’s a list of Copics you’ll need if you want to follow along. Remember you can follow along using any colors, it’s the technique of laying down the ink that you need to practice the color doesn’t make a difference. Just make sure if you are replacing the colors replace them with the same amount of coordinating colors.

Copic List

  • Bear – E55, E53, E51, E50, R30,R000
  • Boots and shovel – W7, W5, W3, W1
  • Shirt – W5, W1, BV23, BV20, BV0000
  • Carrots – E99, E97, E93

I forgot a a couple of photos here I filled the rest of the carrots in with the E93 and I laid down my G85 first in the shadowed areas, just right around his hand then filled it in with the G82.
