I have some awesome news to share, I’m guest designing for Pretty Pink Posh, again. This week I’ll be sharing 2 tutorials over on the Pretty Pink Posh Blog. So be sure to pop on over there and have a peek.

Today I’m sharing a card I made using Holiday Pals Stamp Set. If you head on over to the Pretty Pink Posh Blog I have a tutorial on how I masked and colored these Snowy Trees.

I didn’t use very many colors for this scene. Here’s a full list of what markers I have used:

  • Trees – G85, G82, G20,
  • Snow and Bunny – W00, W1, W3, W5
  • Sky – BV08, BV04, BV02

I stamped my images in Memento Black ink and onto my Copic Xpress it Blending Card. If you are having troubles blending your Copic Markers you could be using the wrong paper so make sure it’s Copic friendly! Check out my Copic Marker Must Have list for all your Copic Marker needs!

I’ve used my White Gel pen to create snow on the trees and and snow falling. I think one of the best tips when using a white gel pen to create snow is to actually put snow dots onto the black outline of the stamp. This way your snow really looks like it’s falling in front of the trees.

One of my favorite dies ever is this adorable tiny scalloped border die!! I think it’s perfect for snow! The Scalloped Border Die Set is also from Pretty Pink Posh and comes with 3 different style scalloped dies. I love the little stitches on them too!

I hope this Snowy Trees Copic Marker Color Combo has inspired you to create your own background scenes. Check out more Copic Marker Color Combos Inspiration and ideas using your Copic Markers!
