Simple Merry Little Christmas Card Video Tutorial for MFT
Today I’m sharing a Simple Merry Little Christmas Card Video Tutorial for MFT. I had so much fun creating this card and I love the way it came out.
I stamped the trees and sentiment with Memento Black Ink and Stamped onto my Copic Xpress it Blending Card using my Misti. Check out my Copic Marker Shopping Guide!
I’m using the stamp set Merry Moments along with their coordinating dies. The ‘Beautiful’ die is also from My Favorite Things — every time I use this die I love it more and more. It really can be used all year round.
For the pink card which is in the video below — I’m using Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink, Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide and Dried Marigold Distress Oxide.
The Pink Copics I used to color my trees are: RV34, RV32, RV13, RV11 and R85 and R81. I didn’t do an fancy coloring — just some basic coloring. You can check out THIS VIDEO if you want to see a tutorial on coloring little trees and adding more depth and texture to them.
If you’re looking for a GREAT price on Copic — Check out ScrapbookPal.com you can get Sketch Copics for only 5.85 and Ciao Copics for only 3.90!
The green card I used the following Distress Oxides, Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio and Pine Needles.
Here’s a list of the Copics I used for the trees : BG75, BG72, YG95, YG97, YG63, YG67.
I hope I can make a few more of these cards using some different colors and maybe even doing a rainbow one. These are so easy and fun to make — perfect for creating a lot of Christmas cards. It’s also a great way to practice blending your Distress Oxide inks and coming up with new color combos.
