Simple Christmas Cards with Copics and Distress Oxide for Ellen Hutson
Hi there my crafty friends. Today I have a new post sharing this adorable set of Christmas Cards for Ellen Hutson. I’ve made 4 different cards using the same techniques just changing up the stamp and colors. I’m using this adorable stamp and coordinating die set called, Holiday Characters and the sentiments are from the new set, Retro Holiday Sayings.
I stamped my images in Memento Desert Sand so I can get that no line look. I used my Mini Misti so I can get that perfect stamped image. Many people ask what paper to use when Copic coloring and my absolute favorite is Copic Xpress it Blending Card. Since I’m doing the no line look, I’ve also used a multi liner to re-draw in the eyes.
All the sentiments are embossed in white ink and powder before I sponged the backgrounds with my Picket Fence Studios Brushes.
For my Happy Holly Days Card I used my Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink. I also used the following Copic Markers:
C0, C2, C4, B00, B12, B14, R35, R37, R59, G24, G20, G28, Y35, YR04
For my Jingle all the Way Card I used my Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Inks to create my background. Here are the Copic Markers I used:
E30, E31, E33, E23, R59, R37, R35
The Joy to you from me card is distressed with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink. I’m using the following Copic Markers:
R32, R30, E13, E11, E00, E000, E42, E43, E44, C0, C2, C4, G20, G24, G28
For my Santa Card I used Barn Door Distress Oxide inks. Here’s the Copic Markers I used:
R32, R30, E13, E11, E00, E000, C0, C2, C4, R37, R35, R59, B00, B12, B14
