Simple Cards using a Tye Dye effect using your Copic Markers

Simple Cards using a Tye Dye effect using your Copic Markers

I have a set of cards to share with you using Honey Bee Stamps and dies. I’m going to share how to create Simple Cards using a Tye Dye effect using your Copic Markers.

I created the tye dye effect with my Copic Markers. To create this you can take a piece of scrap paper, make sure it’s Copic friendly. I’m using Copic Xpress Blending card. Then decided what colors you want, make sure you’re using at least 3 shades of that one color. Then start scribbling using your darkest color. Go out a little more using each lighter color. Then, start adding your next set of colors doing the same thing. Make sure you’re going in between colors.

I did a Tutorial on this a few months ago. Check out How to blend Different Copic Markers. This is a great way to practice your blending and creating cards with the outcome!

Another awesome technique to use with dies like this is to Create a Rainbow using Copic Markers!

I created a large enough pattern to cut out this Hooray die 3 times creating 3 cards using this one effect. I stamped the little confetti stamps using the Celebration Box Stamp Set and added some more texture by adding some Honey Bee Sequins.
