Hey there! Today I’m sharing a Pretty Pink Posh Chick Coloring Tutorial using Copic Markers! I had so much fun coloring this little chickie from the Birdy Notes  Stamp Set. Birdy Notes also has a coordinating Die Set.. so no fussy cutting. I decided to make this card into an Easter scene, so I created a white picket fence in the background and created some Easter eggs around the chick. It turned out really cute! Oh, I’m using one of my favorite dies from the Pretty Pink Posh Scalloped Border Dies.

I have a tutorial on how I created the feather texture of the bird but am only showing how I colored the wing so it wouldn’t be a 50 picture tutorial. To get the no line look I stamped my image in Memento Desert Sand Ink. I stamped onto my Copic Xpress it Blending Card — my favorite paper to color on. Here’s a full Copic Marker List of all the colors used in this scene.

  • Chick – Y21, E30, E000, Y26, YR04, YR14, N5
  • Ground – E0000, E30, E31, E33,
  • Grass – YG93, G24, G21, YG91
  • Fence – C00, N0, N1, N3,
  • Eggs – C00, V01, V000, B00, B0000, BG11, BG10, R01, R000

What a pretty card you have made. Your tutorial is fab. I struggle to colour in animals. Your card fits the Lemon Shortbread Monthly Challenge this fortnight. Thank you for taking part and best wishes in the draw. Kym (Lemon Shortbread Design Team Member).
