One Layer Cards with Spellbinder’s Stamp Kit of the Month
Hi crafty friends. Today I’m sharing how to create One Layer Cards with Spellbinder’s Stamp Kit of the Month! You can create any themed card using this technique but today I’m sharing some Christmas cards. This is actually perfect for Christmas Cards since most people create 20+ cards to send out for Christmas. You can knock out all your cardmaking in just one day using this technique and the cards are beautiful and elegant.
All you need is some Scor-tape in a few different widths I’m using 1/8 of an inch and 1/2 an inch, some glitter any color and some matching ink pads.
Step 1. Cut and score your card bases. Mine 4 1/4 x 11 and scored at 5 1/2.
Step 2. Add some score tape to your card. You can add as much as you like at any angle.
Step 3. Stamp your images in a repeated pattern. I used one stamp per card but you can use different stamps, or one big stamp. Make sure you stamp over the scor-tape a little so the stamp cuts off at that line.
Step 4. Peel off the backing of the scor-tape and sprinkle the coordinating glitter color over the tape. Fine glitter works best.
Step 5. I added the 1/8 of an inch scor-tape afterwards — I felt it need a little more. You can also add different colors of glitter at this time, too.

This card is using the Stormy Sky Distress Oxide Ink and Blue Glitter.
