Learn where to add shadows using Copic Markers

Hey there my Crafty Peeps! I have a new video to share for my monthly coloring video for Neat and Tangled. Today I’m sharing Learn where to add shadows using Copic Markers. Light source is probably one of the top 3 problems for colorists and I get emails weekly on where to add shadows. So, I thought it would be a great video to share how I determine my light source. I also have an awesome blog post I did a while back on STOP trying to find out the Light Source, if you haven’t had a chance to read it I really suggest you do.

Today I’m using this adorable beaver from the Beavers Eh Stamp Set, which also has a coordinating Beavers Eh Die Set. I have stamped my image on Copic Xpress Blending Card using my Black Memento Ink Pad.

Here’s a full list of Copic Markers I have used in this video.

  •  Beaver – E23, E33, E31, E30,
  • Beaver’s Nose – N3, N7
  • Mouse – N0, N1, N3, N5
  • Skirt – R32, R30, R01

Hi Ellie! You need to change your paper. You’re using regular cardstock, right? I use Copic Xpress it Blending Card. It’s the best!
