I’m using the set Plan with Friends and the ‘Bestie’ Sentiment is from the set Bestie. These are perfect for cards and in your planners and bullet journals. I just started a bullet journal. I’ll share my page at the bottom of this post. 🙂
Copic Tutorial and Tips for Coloring Pink
I wanted to share how to shade pink using Copic Markers. I think shadowing pink is one of the hardest colors to color. Normally I would add a grey tone to deepen a color but adding grey to almost any pink changes the color too much. So I have found that using a brownish red works perfectly to deep that pink color.
I’m using R30 and R32 which is one of my pink color combos. I color from dark to light so I added the R32 in the darker areas shown then blending out using the R30 filling the rest of the area in.
Then I’m taking my E17 and going back over where I added the R32 do deepen those shadowed areas.
Now take the R32 and go over the E17 adding the pink over the brown to make it more pink and blending it out into the lighter areas.
Then you’ll need to take the R30 and blend it out throughout the entire pink area by pushing the dark into the light by doing tiny flicks.
I used my Black Memento Ink and Stamped on Copic Xpress it Blending Card. Here’s a full list of Copic Markers used:
- Hair and pup – W00, W1, W3, W5, W7, W9
- Skin – R30, R32, E13, E11, E000
- Dress – R30, R32, E17
