How to get a Watercolor Look using Copic Markers
Hello my Creative Peeps! Today I have a fun tutorial on How to get a Watercolor Look using Copic Markers. I’m using this gorgeous stamp from Power Poppy Stamps. It’s called Glitter House Village. I wanted to create something other than a card, too. So I made this little organizer. It’s perfect for Christmas lists, a receipt, grocery lists, etc. Perfect to keep all your Holiday planning in one spot.
If you would like to see how I created this… head over to the Power Poppy Blog and check out my tutorial!
Below you will find a tutorial (photo heavy) on How to get a Watercolor Look using Copic Markers. I only colored the church in the tutorial otherwise it would have been 100 photos. The trick to coloring this style is to skip the in between color and to concentrate the darkest color on the outline of the stamp. Then take the lighter color and really blend out the darker color, while leaving the house light.
I stamped my image in Memento Black Ink and stamped onto my Copic Xpress it Blending card. The Copic Markers I used are:
E000, E11, E17, E23, E27, N0, N3, N5, G20, G82, G85
Remember when you shadow the snow you want the snow to be shadowed underneath.
I hope you enjoyed my How to get a Watercolor Look using Copic Markers tutorial.
