How to Create Fall Trees using Copic Markers
Hi there! I’m so excited to share this tutorial with you. It’s photo heavy just to warn you, I have over 30 step by step photos on how to create this scene. 🙂
I’m using this adorable stamp set called Pawsome and it’s by Waffle Flower Crafts. There are endless possibilities with this set. You could use it all year round. I decided to create something for Fall. I thought it would be fun to do a tutorial on How to Create Fall Trees using Copic Markers. So get out your favorite critter or people stamp.. or you could even practice on a blank piece of Copic Friendly paper! I’m using Copic Xpress it Blending card and I’ve stamped my images with Memento Desert Sand Ink for the No Line Technique.
If you are using 2 images, like I am, don’t stamp them side by side. This way you can create a hill like appearance, like I have done in this first photo below.
Add more shading to the tree trunk.
Then go back with all of your leaf colors and fill in the tree more as well as adding more leaves in the grass.
Notice with the B21 I’ve stayed more on the inner part of the picture focusing more around the tree trunk and the pups.
Add the W00 all throughout the sky, but again focusing more in the center.
We made it! I hope you you enjoyed learning How to Create Fall Trees using Copic Markers. If you gave this a shot I would love to see it. Tag me in Social Media or use the hashtag #TheCopicScoop.
