How to Color Transparent Objects using Copic Markers
I’m very excited to share this next project using CC. Designs Stamps. This cute little cat is from their newest release, Rustic Sugar 3 Balloons Kitty. I decided to make a tutorial on How to Color Transparent Objects using Copic Markers — since these balloons are just perfect for this technique!
Copic Markers used:
- Cat – E30, E31, E33, E35, E37, W5, W7, W9
- Balloons – V17, V15, V12, B14, B12, B00, G82, G24, G21, G20
- Grass – G82, G24, G21, G20,
- Ground – E0000, E30, E31, E33
- Sky – B00, B000, BG000
Step by Step:
You can see on the original stamp there’s no balloon lines in between the balloons, so since we want to create that look we have to add them. Which I did using my V15 and B14 in the photo below.
This technique is so much fun, you can do it with balloons, glass and even part of a dress if you want it to look sheer. It’s so much fun to challenge yourself to take your coloring to the next level!
