How to color a terra cotta pot using Copic Markers

I have another Valentine’s card to share with you, this time I’m using Tammy Tutterow Designs Stamps. I just adore her stamps. I’m also going to show you How to color a terracotta pot using Copic Markers. Super fun stuff to share with you! 🙂

I wanted to create a mini Valentine Card is 4 x 3.25 inches. The adorable little flower pot is from Tammy Tutterow DesignsPosie Parts Stamp and Die Set. I was going to use the dies to cut out the image, but I haven’t done any fussy cutting in a while so I went ahead and cut it out myself. Check out my post on, The Trick to Fussy Cutting

I have been wanting to use my Tammy Tutterow Designs Waterfall dies.. and it was perfect for a little peek-a-boo note on my mini Valentine.

Now.. on with the coloring… How to color a terracotta pot using Copic Markers.

I stamped my stamps in Memento Desert Sand Ink because I wanted to go for the ‘No Line Technique’. I love the way the no line technique looks on the flower. The center of the flower looks like it’s popping out of the page. It almost looks squishy. 🙂

Copic Markers used: RV10, RV32, RV34, R89, Y35, YR00, YR0000, YG97, YG95, E79, E97, E17, E13

Beautiful card and very helpful tutorial. In addition to the very realistic looking terra cotta, I love the sweet scalloped edge and the twine bow. Thank you for joining us at Jo’s Scrap Shack.
