How to Color a Piece of Cake with Neat and Tangled and Copics

Hello there my creative peeps! I’ve been wanting to do this tutorial since I got this stamp and just haven’t had a chance. I’m using the Piece of Cake Stamp and Die set from Neat and Tangled and it’s SO much fun to color. The image is huge so there’s so many different things you can do with it and it’s very Copic Friendly, as you can see!

My video is only of me coloring the cake, so I didn’t get get too crazy with the little kiddos peeking out around the cake. Here’s the colors I used in the video for the cake and icing.

I used my Misti to stamp my image in memento ink and stamped onto my Copic Xpress Blending Card.

Cake and Icing – RV11, RV13, RV32, RV34, R30, E27

Skin – E00, E11, E13, R32, R30

Hair – E31, E30, E25

Clothes/Hats/Cherry etc – R37, R39, R59,C0, C3, C6, C8, C10, B93, B95, B97, YR12, Y04, Y11, G21, G24

Here’s the video Enjoy!

For my background I sponged my Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink in the center of my card base and then drew little white sparkles all over the blue area for a sparkle effect. I’m so obsessed with these Distress Oxide Backgrounds at the moment!
