I just adore the digi stamps over at 2 Cute Ink. If you haven’t seen them you really need to rush right over and take a peek. Today I’m sharing a Copic Marker Tutorial on How to color a Dragon using Copic Markers using this exclusive digi stamp that is only available in the 2 Cute Ink Digi Stamp Club! There are also single stamps from her Etsy shop.

I wanted to create a sunset looking background so I used oranges and blues. This took me a couple of times, the first time I kept adding way too many colors. But I finally got the look I wanted. This is why the background is finished before I colored the little Dragon. So if you are planning on creating a background and not sure how it’s going to come out, do the background before you color your image. Which I think is an AWESOME tip!

Check out my Background Tutorials if you are looking for some ideas on creating your own freehand backgrounds using your Copic Markers.
