How to Color a Cow using Copic Markers

Hey there all my creative peeps! Today I’m sharing a super fun card using My Favorite Things! I love these little farm animals and I have so many more ideas for cards with them. The sentiments that come with this set are so cute and funny. This set is called Animal Farm, and of course there’s also a matching Animal Farm Die Cut Set. I was over on the My Favorite Things Challenge Blog and saw this adorable Sketch and thought I would give it a go. I love the way it turned out!

Today I’m going to be sharing a tutorial on How to Color a Cow using Copic Markers. How fun, right? So let’s get to it. I stamped my images in Memento Desert Sand Ink so I can get that ‘No Line Technique‘. I stamped onto my favorite Copic friendly paper — Copic Xpress it Blending Card. Did you know if you’re not using the right paper it can affect the way your ink blends, spreads etc. So, make sure you are using something Copic Friendly. Check out My Copic Marker Must Haves!

Copic Markers used:

  • Tree + Grass – G82, G85, N5, E33, E30,
  • Apples – E33, R32, R35, R39, N5
  • Wooden post – E30, E31, E33, W00
  • Sheep – C00, C0, N1, N3, N5, N7, R30
  • Piggy – R01, R30, R32, E33, N7
  • Cow – C00, C0, N1, N3, N5, N7, R01, R30, R32, E33

Your card is fantastically adorable and I must say it’s nice to see a tutorial that’s not a video for a change. I think they’re so much easier to follow with no pausing or playing back. Love the no-line coloring. It’s all just way too cute! Thanks for sharing with us at Double D!
