Honey Bee Stamps and Misti Blog Hop + Free Copic Tutorial Download

I’m super excited about being apart of this blog hop with Honey Bee Stamps and My Sweet Petunia featuring the Mini Misti Stamping Tool! I’ve made a super cute Shaker card using Honey Bee Stamps Welcome Baby Stamp Set and the Hooray Day Honey Cut Die Set.

I have to tell you about this Misti tool! WOW! Seriously, this tool is awesome. It makes stamping and creating scenes so simple. This tool is super awesome.. you so need one! You can win a Misti or Mini Misti  here on this hop! So be sure to hop through all the designers and leave a message for your chance to be entered into the drawing. Check back on April 7th on THIS POST to see if you’re a winner.

There’s also a $45 gift certificate to Honey Bee Stamps up for grabs, too. 🙂

Misti Tool Tutorial

Before you continue on your journey through the hop I want to show you how this Misti Tool works.

Step 1.

Once you open your Misti tool, you will notice 2 magnets on the back. These magnets are used to keep your image in place. Be careful they are pretty strong. Get your cardstock and then place the magnets in opposite corners like I have in the photo below. Then lay your stamp down before inking it, where you want it on the paper.

Step 2.

Close the lid. Your stamp will now stick to the back of the plastic door of the Misti. Then, ink up your stamp. I’m using Memento Desert Sand. Now, close the door again and the image will now stamp on the paper.

Step 3.

This cutie from the Honey Bee Stamps, Welcome Baby, you can either have a ‘boy’ version or ‘girl’ version with pigtails. I’m doing pigtails because this really shows how much the Misti really helps with building scenes, or just layering stamps.

Step 4.

I’ve placed the pigtails where I want them on my image then repeat the process with closing the door and then ink up, then shut the door again.

Step 5.

Your image is ready to be colored, or placed on a card. 🙂 Easy peasy!

Speaking of coloring. I do have a special little gift for you all today. I’ve colored this image using the ‘no line’ technique. It was very photo heavy… so I’ve made the step by step photo tutorial into a FREE E-Book for you to download!

You’re welcome! 🙂

Ok, my creative peeps! Are you ready to hop along?? Here’s the list!
