Hello Bluebird New Release + How to color a mouse using Copic Markers

I’m super excited to be guest designing for Hello Bluebird during this new release. Don’t you love the little mice and strawberries. I love the way the soft blue sky looks with the pops of red from the strawberries and mushroom.

This new stamp set is called Field Mice and they also have matching dies so none of that fussy cutting. There’s also a new window and tag die set — I’m using the scalloped border along with the window frame. Both of the frames are popped up on some foam tape and the insides of the windows, where I sponged the grass and sky, is glued down flat to the card base. I used Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink for the Sky and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink for the Grass.

I stamped all my images in Memento Black Ink and stamped onto my Copic Xpress it Blending cardstock using my Mini Misti.

Of course I used my Copic Markers to color all my images. Here’s a breakdown of the colors I used.

Mice – C0, C2, C4, C6, R30, R32

Strawberries – YG13, YG17, R32, R35, R37

Grass – YG13, YG17

Flower – YG13, YG17, Y21, Y35

Butterfly – V17, V15, V12

Mushroom – E30, E31, E33, R32, R35, R37, C2

Here’s a video to share with you how I colored the Mouse holding the strawberry.
