I’m super excited to show you my Handmade Cards with Papertrey Ink today. I just love the way my cards came out and so happy I was asked to Guest Design. I will have to add Papertry Ink to my Favorite Craft Companies!

You are Simply Amazing Card

I wanted to make a really colorful card so I took my Distress Oxide inks and created a rainbow background on a small piece of cardstock 3 x 4 1/4. This piece of cardstock fit perfect in the center of the border bling tin stitched die. I then stamped my small heart from the New All About You Stamp Set in White ink. Then, I die cut the ‘you’ 2 times, once in white fun foam and the other in black cardstock and glued the black ‘you’ to the foam for some extra dimension. I die cut a white heart out to place in the center of my rainbow background. And attached the sentiment strips the ‘you’ to my card. For some final touches I took my white gel pen and added some little dots to the rainbow background then took a black multiline to add some faux stitching around the edge.

You make me happy when sky’s are gray card

I made another card with some cool blue hues. I first sponged my card base with Chipped Sapphire, Peacock Feathers and Evergreen Bough Distress Oxide inks. Then I die cut the Lots of Dots border die in white and glued it to the card base so you have all those little distress oxide blue dots showing. I created another blue hue Distress Oxide Background and stamped my hearts in White pigment ink and then Embossed them in some White embossing powder and die cut them out. The ‘You’ is cut out with black cardstock and the remaining sentiment is stamped in Blank Memento Ink.
