Handmade Cards with no Stamping

Hi there my crafty peeps! I’ve been MIA for the last week — tomorrow will be 5 weeks now that I have injured my back and it’s taking a toll on my crafting and sitting at the computer time. Which really is horrible because now I’ve completely fallen out of my normal routine. UGH!

Today, there’s a new release over at Simon Says Stamp called Rest and Refresh. When I hear those words I think of relaxing by the pool! I’ve used the new Buoys stencil with my Nuvo Moonstone Glimmer Paste after distressing with my Distress Oxide Inks, Tumbled Glass, Chipped Sapphire and Peacock Feathers. The blue glitter strips is actually scor-tape used with the Simon Says Stamp Blue Glitter embossing powder. I adding different size strips of scor-tape adding glitter to my cards. These are such great techniques to use on you Handmade Cards with no stamping.

I also used some Fun Foam to cut out my Summer die. This was from a previous Simon Says Stamp Release. Using the foam really gives the sentiment some dimension against the glimmer  paste and I just love the white words against those rich blue distress oxide colors. Well, I hope you enjoyed my card on techniques for Handmade Cards with no Stamping.

Check out the other goodies in the new Simon Says Stamp Release, Rest and Refresh. Happy Shopping and Happy Crafting!
