Free Harry Potter Digi Stamp & Watercolor Background Video Tutorial
It’s time for another FREE Digi Stamp for you all! Well, my email subscribers were all sent this free digi in the beginning of the week. One of the perks of being on my list. If you are not you can sign up below.
A few weeks ago I had mentioned how I went to Universal Studios and the following day me and my girls watched 5 of the Harry potter Movies. I still haven’t finished them but they are so good– and we all just loved Harry Potter World. My daughter had doodled this cute little Harry Potter probably over a year ago and I remembered with all of this Harry Potter talk so I dug it out and turned it into a digi! YAY!
I used my Copic Markers to color Harry Potter and then I did some Fussy Cutting. I printed my image at 2.4 x 3.1 inches and lowered the opacity to 25 percent so I can get that no line look that I love so much, I also printed on my Copic Xpress it Blending card.
Here’s a full list of Copics that I used:
- Skin – R30, E000, E00, E11, E13
- Hair – E25, E55, E57, E59, E49, N5, N9
- Wand – E57
- Tie – R35, R39, Y26, Y28
- Robe – N9, N7, N5
***Printing Digi Tip ***
A lot of people ask me about laser vs inkjet printers. I have both and use both. I have never had an issue with my inkjet printer. If you are concerned about the ink running — try heat setting the image for a few seconds before you color.
I’ve really been wanting to do water coloring/mixed media lately so it’s been so much fun incorporating this technique into my cards. Here’s my video of how I made the background.
After my ink was all dry ..then I added a bunch of Stardust Stickles! I hope you enjoy my Free Harry Potter Digi Stamp & Watercolor Background Video Tutorial! Have a wonderful weekend!
