Emboss Resist with Neat and Tangled

Here’s another card using the new release from Neat and Tangled. This stamp set is called Grateful Heart. I stamped the image in white ink and then embossed it with White Embossing Powder. Then, I sponged my distress oxide inks over the embossed image. I love the bold white image against pastel colors of my distress oxide inks.

I used my Distress Oxide Inks and myPicket Fence Life Changing Brushes. The Distress Oxide Colors I used are: Worn Lipstick, Dried Marigold, Scattered Straw, Peacock Feathers and Shaded Lilac. After I distressed the cardstock, I like to take a paper towel and gently wipe the embossed, stamped image. This will really bring out the white by wiping the excess distress oxide color from the embossed area.

The piece of cardstock that I distressed is 4 x 5 1/4 and I attached it to my card base with some foam tape — just to give it a little dimension. The sentiment is also from the Grateful Heart Stamp Set.
