How sweet are these little tags!? I have made them using Neat and Tangled’s Stay Cool Stamp and coordinating die set. Today we are talking about Different Styles of Coloring with Your Copic Markers. I stamped them with memento ink and stamped onto my Copic Xpress Blending Card. The paper is some scraps left over from MFT Candy Lane Paper Pad. I used the small snowflake from the Stay Cool Stamp Set and a white ink pad to stamp the little snowflakes on my kraft tag.

I’m going to share a couple of the most popular ways to use your Copic Markers. In the video below I’ll be sharing 3 different ways you can color this bear. I’ll be using the same exact color combo and you can see how different each look has when you’re finished.

The first bear (pink tag) is colored using the circular technique, second bear (purple tag) is colored using the flicking technique and the last bear (blue tag) is colored using the dotted technique.

If you need a step by step on gradually coloring with more than one color check out this video, too!

Copic colors used:

In the video I’m using E40, E41, E42, E43 and E44 to color the bear.

Check out the Video below.

Another issue a lot of people have using Copic Markers is light Source. I wrote a post on Stop, trying to find the light source — which I think you’ll find to be helpful.

I hope you enjoyed the video and you found it to be helpful. Which way do you prefer to color? Make sure you leave it in the comments. 🙂

Thank you so much for the video Mindy! I like all three techniques. I’m a flicker myself, but I think I’m going to try some of the dotted technique in my work. I also just purchased your December class and am looking forward to taking it.
