Creating Holiday Cards with Jillibean Soup

This first card I’m using 2 of the new stamp sets from Jillibean, Shaker Stamp Set Winter Wishes and Shaker Stamp Set bring Joy. I stamped different sentiments from the Bring Joy stamp set onto my white card base using red ink. Then I stamped the snowflakes from the Bring Joy in white ink onto my kraft cardstock. I then trimmed my shaker die cut card base down to fit onto the card base I just created. I stamped the tree from the Winter Wishes set and created the shaker part using the white foam ball fillers.

This next card I’m using the new Stamp Set called Thinking of You.  I sponged the Distress Oxide Inks in a light and dark blue and then stamped the ornament image in my white pigment ink. Then, I embossed the ornament in pearl white embossing powder. I also cut out the Joy with the sponged scrap paper. I cut out 2 more additional ‘Joy’ in white card stock and glued them to the back of the sponged one so I can make the sentiment thicker. With the new red foam ball fillers I also glued them to the berries for more dimension.

I love this new set called Merry and Bright. The different patterns of trees are super cute! I trimmed my colored cardstock strips and glued them side by side to create this background. I stamped my trees onto white cardstock – stamping off on the striped one so it appears lighter. All layers on this card are on foam tape and pop dots. The little snowflake fillers are perfect to add little accents to this card.
