Creating cards with Maker’s Movement Dies

Hi there my creative peeps! Today I’m going to share my creative process making this adorable card using Maker’s Movement Dies, also known as Cheery Lynn.

There are actually no stamped images on this card. I’ve only used the dies and my distress oxide inks. Fun, right?

First, I really have to say how much fun layering all the dies really is! I’m having so much fun with dies lately and it’s been nice to think outside of the box a little. This little Happy Camper die cuts like butter and for as many times as I cut out this camper — the paper never stuck once! I didn’t have to get my little poker out to make it come out. So, that’s just awesome!!!

In my video below I actually only created the night time card but I still wanted to list the Distress Oxide Colors — the camper is the exact same. I did add a black layer of the happy camper sentiment and off set it so it creates a shadow. The black makes it pop against the golden sky.

The sky is Scattered Straw and Dried Marigold and the ground is Mowed Lawn and Vintage Photo.

I used my Picket Fence Life Changing Brushes to blend my inks and create my backgrounds.

Here’s the colors I used for the Night time Camper Card.

Squeezed Lemonade and Chipped Sapphire for the sky and Vintage Photo and Mowed Lawn for the ground.
