Creating Backgrounds behind your images using Copic Markers

I’m so excited to share how Creating Backgrounds behind your images using Copic Markers using this card for Tammy Tutterow Designs. Let’s learn to think outside the box and challenge yourself and your Copic abilities!

Since most of Tammy Tutterow Stamp Designs are these GORGEOUS, meaningful quotes it’s so easy to add to the backgrounds of your projects to coordinate with the sentiment. In this, “Be Sunny” card I chose to create a rainbow. For me this sentiment is saying being Sunny even on the cloudiest day.. what comes after a storm? Yup, a rainbow! Check out this post on How to create your own Rainbow using Copic Markers. In this project, I did use the colors in the photo. So depending on how bold or soft you want your rainbow to be, you can change up the colors a bit.

Another idea for Creating Backgrounds behind your images using Copic Markers is to create grass along the bottom and have it come behind and infront of the sentiment. Check out this tutorial on How to Create Grass using Copic Markers. If creating the grass blades is more of a challenge for you and you are looking for a little more of a simple way to get the grass effect, check out this soft grass tutorial.
