So, I absolutely LOVE this little guy! I left little scribbles on the outline of him so he has that extra fuzzy look on top of creating a Fuzzy Texture using Copics . I used my favorite cardstock to color on, Cyrogen. When coloring this little guy, I don’t just start adding the fur (dots) I first color it solid.

Copics : E51, E33, E35

To make my Fuzzy Texture using Copics I started adding dots in the darkest areas first and gradually started bringing them out all over the bear. I applied little dots in this order.

Copics: E39, E74, E79, N7, N5, E35, E33, E51.

I decided to give Fuzzy a scenic look. So I created hills and clouds by coloring in the negative space (the sky) which gives the clouds more if a natural look and not so much like your typical “cloud”.

Copics:

Grass – N7, G28, YG17, YG13, G20

Sky – B000, B21, B41, B00, B60, BG11, BG10, BG70, C00, C0, C2,

Balloon – Y0000, Y00, Y02, Y11, Y13

I embossed my sentiment which is from the adorable DayDream set from Newton’s Nook and to complete my image I added some glossy accents to my balloon. I think he came out so cute and there are so many things you can do with backgrounds. Which I will be including in my NEW Creating with Copics E-Course. So make sure you keep an eye out for any information!

This is such an endearing little card! I love your bear and thought it was so clever how you added texture to him! The fur looks amazing and I would’ve never thought to make fur out of dots. Your sky background also looks incredible and I love how you added such a realistic look to the balloon. I enjoyed seeing your project so much and so glad you shared it with us for this week’s Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
