Creating 3D Images using your stamps

Today I’m sharing how I made a 3D image for my Mommy Lhey Travel Planner using a digi from Pinky’s Adventures and pairing it with my new February Monthly Little Bits Kit!

I colored my cute little Pinky Coffee digi with my Copic Markers. Depending on how many layers your digi has you will at least want to stamp and color 3 of them – so you can have that popping out effect.

I printed my digis on my Copic Xpress it Blending Card and colored with my Copic Markers. Here’s a list of the colors I used.

Pinky – N0, N1, N3, N5, R01, R32

Cup – E70, E71, E74, E77

If you have a Silhouette you will be able to use the cut files that come in the Pinky Digital kit. If you are like me you will have to fussy cut them. So pick a simpler image if you’re not a fan of fussy cutting.

Then you’ll cut Pinky from the coffee cup on one of the images.

Layer the other full image on top of the other using some foam tape or pop dots.

Then you will do the same with the Pinky image. This way it really looks like Pinky is popping out of that coffee cup.

I decided to turn this into a paperclip to pop out of my planner but from here you can glue it on a card front or even a scrapbook page. 🙂

I just love the way it looks with my new Planner Goodies from Mommy Lhey! That llama is soooooo adorable!

These are adorable and the combination of fussy cutting and colouring makes them look really 3-dimensional. Thank you for the tutorial and for sharing it at SOSS
