Create a Smile – Coffee Card-making Kit + How to color White using Copic Markers
Hey there my crafty friends. Today I’m sharing some cards I made using the new Coffee Card-making Kit from Create a Smile. This little card kit is so cute and you get so many goodies to play with.
Make sure you head on over to Create a Smile so you can be inspired by the other designers who are creating with this Coffee Kit, too!
These first 2 cards are 4×4 note cards and I’ve taken bits and pieces from the Create a Smile Coffee Kit‘s Ephemera pack. There’s a ton of adorable dies in this little packet. They are perfect to create cards and you could even create some really cute Scrapbook layouts with them, too! For some extra detail and dimension I’ve added lots of pop dots to really give these cards that extra finishing touch.
This next card I used the stamps in the Create a Smile Coffee Kit. I stamped them in Memento Black ink and stamped onto my Copic Xpress it Blending Card. I colored them with my Copic Markers. Make sure you scroll down for my How to color White using Copic Markers Video.
I used the alphabet letters and spelled out Happiness — because Coffee is Happiness.. right!?
Do you see the little drips of coffee dripping out of the purple cup? Those are the little enamel dots that also come in this Coffee Card Kit.
Copic Markers Used on this card : B97, B95, B93, B91, V01, V12, V15, V17, N0, N1, N3, N5, R81, R83, R85
As much as I love to color I really enjoyed creating this next card — which has no coloring! I used the Coffee Dies that you also get in the Create a Smile Coffee Kit. I die cut 2 sets of each of these colors and then glued them all in different directions all over my card front. This is a great way to use up scraps of cardstock too.
I also added some Glossy Nuvo Drops – Calming Aqua all over my card.
Again, I used the alphabet stickers to spell out my ‘Coffee Time’ Sentiment.
Okay, so now for my Video tutorial on How to Color White using Copic Markers. I’m also going to share my cards and everything you get in the Create a Smile Coffee Card-making Kit.
I’m using N0, N1, N3, N5, V01, V12, V15 in the video.
