Coloring Power Poppy Stamps using only 10 Copic Marker Colors
Who’s ready for some cooler weather!? It’s been over 100 degrees the last week and I’m so ready for Fall. Ok, living in Southern California we don’t really have too much of a weather difference but I could really use our Fall 70 degree weather. 🙂
That being said I have a Christmas Card to share with you all today. I know a lot of you are reading this thinking nooooo… not yet. But– it’s really never too early to start. Especially if your hand-making and hand-coloring them. This is such a gorgeous stamp from Power Poppy Stamps. It’s called Bough Wow Wow. I used the no line technique so I stamped my image in Memento Desert Sand Ink onto my Copic Xpress it Blending cardstock. One of my favorite papers to use for coloring. If you would like more suggestions on the products I use with my Copics check out the post Copic Marker Must Haves.
I love the soft look of this Copic Marker Color Combo. It will work with any occasion, too! If you would like a detailed step by step tutorial on how I colored this image — head on over to the Power Poppy Blog for today’s Inspire me Monday Post.
If you choose to follow along the tutorial, or any of my Copic Marker Tutorials remember if you don’t have the exact colors I use, you can always substitute for any coordinating colors you do have. Just make sure you replace the number of Copics with the same (or at least 1 less if you have to) for the same effect. It’s not about the color — but learning how to apply and blend the colors.
