How to Color Hair using Copic Markers and Mommy Lhey Stamps
Hello my creative peeps! I’m so excited to share this post and little video on How to Color Hair using Copic Markers and Mommy Lhey Stamps. I’m really obsessed with these planner stamps from Mommy Lhey I can’t wait to get my hands on more. This cutie is ‘Coffee Chica’ and you can find her in the Mommy Lhey Digi section. These planner stamps are perfect for cardmaking, too! ♥
Using your Copic Markers to color hair is probably in the top 3 of my most asked questions. I get dozens of emails from fellow crafters saying how much they struggle with coloring hair. I have the same formula for every color. Medium – Light – Dark – Light – Medium – Light. The trick is to leave the hair very streaky and then doing one swipe over in the end with the lightest color. This is going to really give you a textured look if you want your hair to look more realistic. Before you watch the video here’s a full list of all the Copics I’ve used.
Copic Markers
- Skin – E13, E11, E000, R32, R30
- Hair – E71, E74, E77, E79, N9
- Sweater – W5, W3, W1
- Cup – E71, E74, E77, E79, BG72, BG75, BG78, BG13
- Scarf – YR14, YR12, YR00

So what do you think? Are you ready to head on over to Mommy Lhey and get your own Coffee Chica and follow along?

I also wanted to point out that adorable leaf paper. It’s from Prima’s Julie Nutting Collection and it’s the November / December pad. I just LOVE the leaves and the Christmas ones are awesome!
