Blending Copic Markers for Beginners Video Tutorial

I’m so excited about this Blending Copic Markers for Beginners Video Tutorial because I really think it’s going to benefit so many of you and that makes my little heart so happy! ♥

The stamp set I’m using is from Neat and Tangled and it’s called Oh Deer Stamp Set and the Coordinating Die Set, too!

First, I’m going to share how to blend 2 colors, then adding a 3rd color and finally adding a 4th color to really get defined with our Copic Markers. It’s REALLY going to make it easy for those who are just starting their Copic Collection and you don’t have many coordinating colors.  It’s also going to help those who are ready for the next step! 🙂
If you are still struggling with blending and getting “the flick” down — you might want to check out THIS POST. It will not only help you learn how to blend but you can use your practice cardstock on cards!
I’m using E30, E31, E33 and W5 but you can use any coordinating colors.

Watch the video below.

For the blue background I used my Distress Oxide Inks, Tumbled Glass and Stormy Sky and sponged the background. For a textured look, I dripped some water to create that awesome effect from the distress oxide ink. Once it was all dry I pressed my entire image to a Versamark pad. After the paper is saturated in the ink I sprinkled clear embossing powder and embossed the entire piece of cardstock. I trimmed up the piece of card stock for a little more ‘character’ and added my cute little Deer.
