Beach Scene with Copics and Distress Oxide Video Tutorial

Today I’m sharing a new video tutorial for My Favorite Things. I really love the way this card turned out! I’m using a few different stamp sets. The main one is the new Mermaid for Each Other. The clouds are from Piggy Pebbles stamp set and the Sun Die is also a from My Favorite Things.

I stamped my mermaid in Memento Desert Sand and I stamped the clouds in black and stamped off one time to get a lighter color. I used my Mini Misti so I can get that perfect stamped image. Many people ask what paper to use when Copic coloring and my absolute favorite is Copic Xpress it Blending Card.

I used my distress oxide inks to create the entire beach scene. I’m using Peacock Feathers, Chipped Sapphire, Vintage Photo, Tumbled Glass and Dried Marigold.

I think the white gel pen really adds that perfect touch to bring the image all together.

I also added a little Star Dust Stickles to the water and the sand and some glossy accents to the sun.
