11 Papercraft Projects for a Craft Fair + What to Charge
It seems like Spring and Fall are the happening times for craft fairs — but what do you make and sell that wont cost a fortune!? I’m going to share 11 Papercraft Projects for a Craft Fair + What to Charge.
If you are a paper-crafter, stamper, card-maker or scrap-booker — you are going to love these ideas because you will already have just about all of the supplies to make these projects. Most of my projects include some type of coloring because that’s my favorite part of the creating process. I use alcohol markers called Copic Markers. These markers are awesome — they are not like regular Crayola markers. You can actually blend the ink to create smooth gradients for shadowing and really making your images come to life.
Alrighty then (Ace Venture voice) Let’s get to those 11 Papercraft Projects for a Craft Fair + What to Charge.
Money Holder Card/Tag
Money holders are often a great seller at Craft fairs. Even though most craft fairs are around the holidays — don’t forget Birthday Cards always do well. Don’t forget the age groups most people buy gift cards for – adults and teens so funny ones are always a hit. Co-workers are always having “Secret Santa” exchanges so those would be a great seller and also anything for teachers. I created these money holder tags using My Favorite Things.
What to charge:
Individual Money Holder tag – $4 – $7
Individual Money Holder Card – $5 – $10
Calculate your time and supplies and keep that into consideration when you’re pricing. I also find that packaging or bundling helps with sales. Buy 2 get one free. Spend $20 get a free card.
Check out the Supply List for these money holder cards/tags.

Wooden Wall Decor
These would make super cute presents at a craft fair. You could create and color one like I have or print out a photo. I think coloring one gives it a personal touch. Some great ideas of themes are “I Love my Dog” (have different breeds), friendship, bathroom, kitchen, holiday, office, welcome. You can even take orders for names or last names. You can find all different size wood at Michaels.
- First thing is first, you MUST print using a Laser print printer. I used the Saturated Canary Image, Christmas Attire because she is just too cute!
- Next, you are going to trim your paper so you can see where you are placing your image.
- Then take a strip of tape and tape the edge of the paper to the wood to keep it in place. You only need to tape one side, this way when you lift the paper to see the transfer, once you place the paper down to continue transferring it will go in the same spot.
- Then – IRON the image! Set your iron to the highest setting and iron back and forth. You don’t want to leave it setting there for too long, it will burn the paper.
- Color with Prisma Colored Pencils
What to charge:
5×7 Wooden decor (colored) – $15-$20
5×7 – Wood decor (photo) $10 – $15
Charge more depending on the wood — remember you can’t print out something too big depending on your printer. You can however print a name and put 1-2 letters on a page if your piece of wood in larger.
DIY Witch Broom Lolli-Pops
You gotta have candy to incorporate into your Projects for a Craft Fair. Now, even though I’m using these for lolli-pops for witch brooms you can actually turn them into anything if you think outside the box a little. I like the idea of using See’s Candy because most everyone likes it. I also like that they are square — it helps them to stand up better. Using tissue paper or Kleenex, these would make cute ghosts. You can make these Christmas themed by not using the paper bag and wrapping the candy part like a present. Red and white with a black ribbon in the middle to make it look like a belt for Santa, You could even wrap them in white tissue paper (small piece) and put a cotton ball like a bunny’s tushy. 🙂
To create these DIY Witch Broom Lollipops you will need:
- my FREE Printable tag download
- small craft bags
- Sees lollipops
- buttons
- Scor-Tape
- ribbons and twine
What to charge:
$3 each or 10 for $20
Desk Calendar
Calendars are a great gift to sell if it’s towards the end of the year. You can print free mini calendar pages on cardstock, use patterned paper and match with solid coordinating cardstock. I added some cute little Lawn Fawn Stamp images to give it a little detail. The stand (front and back of “book” Calendar) is chipboard so it will stand on a desk.
What to charge:
$12 each
Treat Boxes
There are tons of different treat box dies that make perfect Projects for a Craft Fair. If they are large enough you tell your customers to add a gift card, candy, small gifts, etc. Again, these can be created for any occasion. You can have all of the same or maybe 3 Fall, Halloween, Christmas and I would include Birthday. These would also be great for Spring! You can use patterned paper or decorate to look like a character or add images like I have. The die I’m using is from Lawn Fawn and the images are from My Favorite Things.
What to charge:
$3.50 – $5
3 for $12 is also a great way to go — you sell more and make a little more.

Bookmarks
These are great for presents for readers of all ages and kids. A bookmark is a great present for a teacher or from a teacher to students. Since they are simple to make and you can’t charge very much I would sell them in sets of 3, 12 and maybe even 24 and 36 for teachers to give to their students. You could offer them laminated or not. You can always suggest them laminating them and add a personalized note to the back.
What to charge:
3 pack – $1.50
12 pack – $5
Check out the Supplies Used to make these bookmarks.
Pre-made Scrapbook Pages
Pre-made Scrapbook pages are great to sell at a craft fair! Everyone I know who scrapbooks is always behind — so if they can find some pages pre-made to help them get caught up. You can just add the matting for a photo. Here’s some scrapbook pages I did for a local scrapbook store for their monthly kit club. It’s probably a good idea to NOT put any dates — this way your buyers can use them for any year and you can use them in upcoming craft fairs, too!
I think the best way to create your pages is by creating 2 12×12 page layouts using a kit from your favorite Scrapbooking store. These kits come with paper, stickers and other embellishments. This way all of your layouts coordinate and they look appealing to the eye. Plus the kits are not very expensive. $12-$19 each. Echo Park, Photoplay and Doodle Bug Designs are some of my favorite Scrapbooking Company’s kits to work with.
What to charge:
$12 per 2 page layout
2 – 2 page layouts for $20
Stamped Card and Matching Candle
These candles are so much fun to create and it looks so cute with a matching card. I stock up on some candles from the dollar store to create these for the local craft fairs. They are so simple to make. Here are the steps:
Stamp your image on some tissue paper and color it.
Trim your tissue paper so it will fit on your candle.
Take a piece of wax paper (wax side down) and place it over your image on the candle. Make sure you hold the wax paper tightly.
Then, using your heat tool melt the tissue paper (image) onto the candle. Don’t leave it on too long so you don’t melt the candle. You will see it transferring — lift up one side of the wax paper to check to see if it’s fully transferred. Repeat if needed.
Candle – $3.50
Candle + Matching Card – $8 – $10

Framed Art
You can find inexpensive frames at a dollar store or even in dollar bins at Michaels. These little 4×4 wooden frames are perfect for a little stamp. I love these images from Lili of the Valley — I think these little frames would look darling in a little girls room. Maybe even get some wooden letters to spell out her name right above it. You could also stamp an image on a printed letter to add the name to the art.
What to charge:
$7 each
Set of 3 for $20
Altered Notebook
I found these ring bound notebooks from Michaels dollar bin. I love the patterns on them and the added ribbon really make these stand out. Adding little printed sayings to these along with a stamped or colored image can really make them more personalized. Mom’s shopping lists, Christmas To Do’s, etc. I just used ribbon from my stash. You could even adhere an envelope to the inside of the front and back for receipts.
